More Retouch of Little Green Gingham Dress

Eh, what else should I call it?

In continuing to work on the restoration of this old photo (30+ years and not very good care, see previous article) I’m dealing more with the color: giving some better contrast, pulling back on the green, and overall brightening. I’m also starting retouching blemishes in the photo. Some are small, like water spots on the paper or the like; and some were a bit bigger, like how I apparently got ahold of a pen one day when I was small and scribbled on it here and there. (The back, for what it’s worth, has fine examples of my handwriting in the same pen… important words like “mommy” and “daddy” no less.)
